Referrals for gifted and talented identification can occur at any time during the year by a teacher, administrator, coach, parent, or student by utilizing the applicable form linked in the left margin. In addition, all second and sixth grade students’ scores and any new students’ test scores will be reviewed for gifted and talented identification at the end of the school year or as soon as test results become available.
Students new to Vanguard who were previously identified in the state of Colorado as gifted and talented retain their gifted and talented identification.
