For families needing an extended-day program for their children, The Vanguard School has partnered with AlphaBEST to be our before-and-after school extended learning provider for the 2024-25 school year!
AlphaBEST Extended Day is so much more than a by-the-books after school program. Our talented staff absolutely facilitates the daily need for assigned homework to be completed, but that’s where the traditional instruction ends.
We introduce our little explorers to the joy and excitement of experiential learning. Through our innovative curriculum, we enable kids to tap into their innate senses of wonder and curiosity to connect with what interests them most. Kids get to explore STEM, language and culture, arts, fitness and more.
Currently, AlphaBEST Extended Day engages the minds of more than 25,000 students across 17 states on a daily basis in safe, familiar environments: their schools.
We are open Monday-Friday before and after school, as well as full days when the school is closed.
AlphaBEST has two locations at The Vanguard School. Here are the details about each:
- The Vanguard School Lower Elementary serves grades K-3 at the Wahsatch Campus. After school, AlphaBEST staff will pick up K-2 students from their classrooms; students in grade 3 will be dismissed from their Vanguard teachers and will meet the AlphaBEST staff in the classroom.
- The Vanguard School Upper Elementary will serve grades 4-6 at the Corona Campus. At the end of the school day, AlphaBEST staff will pick up students in grades 4-6 and walk with them to the AlphaBEST classroom.
